Roles & Account Security

How do I become a Super Admin, and what roles are built into the system?

Any user who registers on MyClassBase automatically becomes the Super Admin of their workspace with full permissions. The system includes 8 preset roles: Super Admin (only one), Campus Director, Financial Manager, Academic Dean, Lead Instructor, Teaching Assistant / Tutor, Enrolled Student, and Trial Student.

The system has multiple built-in roles like Academic Dean. Do solo instructors need all of them?

Solo instructors only need to use the Super Admin role, as it encompasses all platform capabilities. Multi-role delegation is designed for organizational scaling—you only need to invite team members and assign dedicated roles as your business grows.

Do students and staff need phone numbers or emails to register?

No. Students and staff are registered directly by the Super Admin and log in strictly using a 16-character AccessCode, without requiring phone numbers or email addresses.

Teaching Flow & Class Management

Does all AI grading and feedback require teacher review?

Yes. The system never sends homework feedback to students. All evaluations and feedback must be reviewed and can be manually modified by instructors before delivery.

Do I need to create a class for 1-on-1 tutoring sessions?
